How long can a burmating beardie go without food?

Langi Dec 18, 2003 11:11 AM

My beardie has been burmating for almost a week and he wont come out and eat. I brought him out once and put him up to bask but he just ran back into his hide. How long can he go without eating?

Mine have gone as long as 4 mo. Their metabolism slows so much that they don't burn calories or need food.

last season and she was fine... I was a wreck!

The ones that go down hard, I do offer water or diluted pedialyte to every few weeks, some drink very well, one even will not wake for that. They each are different.
