help with a female bd

my 2yr old bd iggy(female) hasnt been near any males but she has seen her mate in the future haryy. but nothing happens their tanls are right next to each other with a sheld to block them from seeing each other. she starts digging around the tank un till there is like a huge pile of sand in the center of the tank. this has benn happing for a bout 3 weeks. so i havent let her seen haryy for like a month y is she still doing this.

Someone please tell me if I am wrong, but I do believe she will lay eggs wether they are fertile or not. She may be trying to nest???

wat should i do . should i just leave her in her tank with the egg if she has any or move her in to a bucket with dirt and soil? thanks
