I thought it was cold out!

Heres the deal
Webster has decided that being warm isn't his thing lately. He has a warm humid hut but has opted for his cold hide for the past week or so and its really cold out. I've been having troubles keeping his house temps up so I thought he'd be hanging out in his humid hut for warmth? Do leos sometimes opt to cool themselves down? Everything else is normal. His eating has slowed but thats normal for him at this time of year. Thanks all!! Merry Christmas!

Hey

Geckos simply like to hybernate in the winter he may want to stay on the cool side cause its more natural he nos its winter cause of how short the days are. Hes just cooling himself his eating should slow down tremedously just take advantage of the low cost feeding well you've got hes just doing what comes natural to him most likely post again if you notice anything unuasul (extreme weight loss etc)

Hope this helps

mine is doing same thing--ignoring heated area and opting for humid hide in cool zone-- and she's never looked better--she stays there more often than heat pad last several weeks--brian
