SHEDDING!!!!!!!!!

my new leo is shedding ithink. he has a piece of white flaky stuff
attached to him and some more laying beside him/her is there anything i should do

Normally you will not see a gecko shed, because normally they eat their shed. However if there is shed attached loosely to your gecko, carefully get it off, use possibly a wet q-tip or something. If dead shed stays on a gecko long enough it can harm them. Just remove the dead shed laying beside her and throw it out as well.

in my leo manual it says that after they shed, they will eat their old skin. it provides nutrients

this is true. you will rarely see your leo shed. you will see the colours get really boring and dull, then the next time you look they will be bright again, knowing she has shed. however if there is any shed left on toes or fingers or anything it needs to be removed immediatly.
