az long az he eets regularly, sheds well and poops akordingly with the amt he eats you schould be able to hold him as much as u want.

Ruel of thumb:

1.) wait at least two weeks for first holding
2.) offer food within the first few dayz
3.) GRADUALLY work your way up to prolonged holding- don't hold him for an hour the first time you get him out. First time, for a few minutes, maybe once a week, add holding, shorten between holding (2/week, 3/week) gradually.

gud lock...

I would wait at least a week b4 the first handling
I would really recommend getting a thermometer
they're pretty essential and are so cheap
its hard to say if your set up is good without the temps thats really the key part
everything else sounds perfect
good luck and have fun with your new addition

I let the snakes tell me when to handle and feed them. If they seem to be fairly calm and curious I will handle them daily. If they seem a little nervous and want to head straight for cover, I will give them a few days. I think the sooner you start to handle them the less stress they will have when you take them out to feed them.
I have had a couple of my hatchlings eat the day I got them.
Saturday is my feeding day and if I happen to get a snake on Saturday and it seems calm enough I will give a try.
