Breeding...

hognose15 Dec 18, 2003 03:26 PM

I thank those who added their opinions a week ago on adding a male to my breeders.

To refresh...

I had 2 males and 9 females. I was asking if the 9 females would be too much for the 2 males.

I bought a sweet super pink normal het. jungle male.

I'd like to get some input on who should breed who...

Females...Salmon het. Ghost
Anery
het. Anery
2x het Abino/Snow
het. Jungle
Stripe
Normal
Argentine
Bolivian - I'm going to get a male Amarali for her

Males...Pastel
2x het Albino/Snow
het. Jungle

I'm a ways off from breeding most of them. The Pastel male and the Normal Female and Argentine should be ready next year. The het Albino/Snow male may be ready by then.

Thanks, Brian

Hi Brian,

It sounds like you have a nice group of boas there. I just wanted to mention though...that there is no such thing as a het Jungle Boa. The Jungle trait is co-dominant and the animals are either Jungle or they are normal (just like in Hypo boas). You may want to contact the person you got that animal from...

Good luck.
