Young Gecko care

K1LOS Jun 03, 2003 02:12 PM

Hi everyone, i got my leopards the other day and have been feeding them pinheads. I hear that only adults will take mealies from a dish, is that true? if so, about how big should they be before i can try this? Lastly, approximately how many pinhead crickets should a 3-3.5" (head to end of tail) be eating a day? Mine seem to never lose their hunger!

Thank You

K!LOS

my leo's started eating mealies at 3 months and they worked great. Their diet consists of mostly mealies as adults. Yes young leopards will eat mealies out of a dish. Just keep feeding them as many crickets as they want.

My baby patternless is about 4 inches, and she eats about 12 or 13 crickets a night!!!
