Clutch color variation

These two are clutchmates. About half the clutch was extrememly colorful, and the other half was very dull. He is 9weeks old in the picture.

Looks like you have some yellow genes and some orange genes in there.
Your yellows should brighten up as they get older. Most yellows at 8 to 12 weeks old don't look a whole lot different than normals.
