I have a good friend who keeps 1 of these snakes, his is a very placid specimen (although you should always consider venomous as ill-tempered) and is pretty easy to work with. A matter of fact, when i first started working with hots with him, this is the snake that he had me first work with. That being said, the venom is potent, and Crofab doesn't always work for envenomations by s. pacifics. And not to nitpick, but it is Crotalus viridis helleri,
