Good to know the little rascal is back in his cage safe and sound. Good thing he didn't have to go to far from your house to find a new den and glad that dog didn't get a hold of him! Did you ever figure out how he got out of his cage? You might as well bring in a stool sample at your leisure. I'd wait to hold him until he doesn't try to walk away from you when you approach him. I'm sure he's a little like a wild animal now.

yes he is still very fiesty! Well he was in a cage in our screen porch ( there was no top, i was still building it ) , but it was still 3 ft high, well anyway he had been getting out but theres no way out of the porch so i would just pick him up and put him back in.... well one day my friend left open the door to the porch and he must have gotten out then.. he was actually living under a shed two houses over for a month!! I live in Oklahoma so the weather was usually nice but still a couple of those nights the temps were in the 40's! Well ill just go ahead and tell you how i caught him! I was setting bait like people suggested... he would always be around the shed and that area from about 2:30 - 6:00 so everyday i would go over around that time... i usually spotted him but wasnt able to catch him! (hes so darn fast!) well finally on sunday i saw him and quickly blocked off the holes leading to the shed...but i still couldnt catch him..he must have ran back to the shed and tried to hide somewhere else... anyway the next day the neighbors dog is sniffing at the fence, so my neighbor looks down and he was hiding between a metal flap and the fence! Well he was pretty much stuck so she called me and i was able to just reach down and get him! (to much hissing and biting!) well thats the full story..
thanks all for everyones help

p.s. I will talk a fecal example to the vet just to be sure...

Glad you found him, Alex! I hope he enjoyed his little camping trip, and is glad to be back in his heated home.
