Question regarding SNOW birth and juvenile coloration.

I have been hatching geckos lately that start out black/yellow and are growing up to be black/white.. I'm just curious, since this is NOT a snow bloodline, do true snows start out white or yellow?

I've seen so many "snows" turn "normal" and yet i've got the exact reverse happening...
