Carpet ID Answered

chameleon2005 Dec 19, 2003 05:21 AM

hey guys,

I posted on here a while ago asking if anyone could Id this snake and I got loads of replies about it!
Thanks to everyone who Contributed!
I emailed Paul harris and sent him a pile of pics of it and he reckons it is a very unusual marked Jungle Carpet, so I`m going to go with that!

Anyway`s I am currently about to start building him a new Viv 4ft x 18inch x 3 foot tall and i was wondering what substrate you guy`s use/prefer? Some one recommend Cypress mulch but I cannot seem to source that here in Scotland so any other suggestions?

Thanks for all your help again!

Phil

I just use newspaper, but I know how you Europeans are concerned about appearances. How about ground coconut husk? It's also called coir.

Funny you say that!

I was using newspaper for a while coz the snake had mites and now that they are gone I have switched to ground Coconut Husk.

HHHMMMMM I suppose its a case of if its not broke dont fix it?

Thanks

Phil
