Are skinks fast

roach1200 Dec 19, 2003 07:52 AM

I was wondering if skinks can run fast?

Also, Can someone tell me a good site for a care sheet on skinks?

I think so. My BTS can take off like a rocket across the room when I put him down.

All skinks have the potential to be fast. The larger, bulkier species, though it may not look like it, can be quite fast. The smaller, more agile skinks can be very fast. So if you have a smaller skink, don't let it get on the ground, or it will be gone in a flash. If you say what the species is, the forum folks could help you out a little better. Hope this helps, jrbl

I'd imagine the ones with legs are faster than the ones without. But this is just speculation.
