I'm a little confused on night/day temps during the summer (lots of details) please READ

Was wondering what GOOD night temps should be during the summer months here in New Jersey..

I'm using completed vented cages, in a a seperate spare room in my house, the ROOM AIR and HUMIDITY is what my snake cages are.

I provide a basking spot between 88-90 at ALL times, this is done with 3-inch flexwatt heat tape, very easy to do when the room itself is heated.

My day temps right now during the day, will bounce from 84 to sometimes as high as 86. The humidity always between 65-75%, these are the temps from around 11:00AM until around 7:00PM.

I then lower the temps, by NOT much, The room will go down to around 82 at it's lowest, with the humidity around 70%. I'm always worried about it getting to cold or to dry.

I'm wondering if my temps are to HIGH during the day, but not sure.

Lastly would it be OK for me to let the humidity drop to around 50% and room temps to drop to around 80, ONLY on the nights I feed the snakes?

On feeding night I have to be wearing a pair of shorts, thats about it! It's so HOT and uncomfortable in the room, that I have to carry around a towel to wipe my face.
