Repta-Aid or Electrolize?

lele Dec 19, 2003 04:53 PM

OK, I got both of these today (mainly for my anole) and am not sure the best for Luna. I think her eating issues is just puberty . She is eating one or two crickets and an occasional housefly. However, she is not drinking much and her skin is wrinkly and not elastic when pinching. I am assuming the electrolize is best but want opinions. Thanks!

Hi Lele,

It's just my opinion, but I would just go with the electrolize for now.
If Luna is still eating at all, then you know she has the ability. She may just be feeling lethagic from being a little dehydrated, and once that gets straightened out, her appetite may pick up.

I personally, would avoid syringe feeding her unless you have to. You don't want her to end up like Zoe. Whether he's just plain lazy now, or if he no longer has the ability to shoot his tongue, he is dependant on me to feed him from a syringe.

Good luck with you little girl...I'm sure she'll come around.
Maybe she's just having a little temper tantrum because you went away.
