Over eating?

raynidays Jun 03, 2003 04:05 PM

Hello everyone! I have a question that I have not been able to research a straight answer on and was hoping someone here may help.

I had a very difficult time getting my baby ball (Indy) to eat, but once she DID eat, it seems thats all she is interested in doing. She refuses anything but live mice and will now eat about every 5 days. Is it harmful for her to eat so often? Should I keep feeding if she'll accept what I offer?

This is like having another child. lol- Where is the Dr. Spock of the snake world?....heeellllp!!

Thanks muchly!!

Oh, and here is her latest pic....sorry it's fuzzy

down on your hands and knees and reach for the stars and thank whatever deity that you pray to and thank him/her for such a good snake. Feed them as much as they will eat, however, try offering the snake a second food item after the first, if they are hungry, they will take it, and may eat less often if they eat more per meal.
