Hatchling info

dandddragons Dec 20, 2003 10:04 AM

Hi there,
we have just started with the breeding side of dragons and our first clutch began hatching at midnight. anyone having general care info for the hatchlings we would appreciate. questions we have are: how soon do they start eating crickets/greens?
how many to keep in one enclosure? we have found some great info for dragons a bit (2-3 wks) older. we are new to the breeding/raising part and want to insure we do everything right.

also, we are moving next weekend and was looking for advice on how best to move our collection (we have 40 various aged dragons, plus the new hatchlings). we live in wisconsin and are moving further north (i know we gotta be out of our minds) where it gets a bit colder.

any/all help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your help: Tracy from beardie crazie and Eddie from J&E reptiles. you have both been absolutely great! the babies are looking great, they are active and hopefully will eat today, they were not interested in crickets yesterday at all. but they all drink the water that we mist them with.
