ignacio Dec 20, 2003 12:54 PM

I have a baby sinaloan milksnake and its pretty agressive every time i try to hold him he tries to strike or run away or wont stay still. Will he grow out of it? or How can I tame her?

except for the two days directly following his eating. Ignore the striking, the musking, and the general hyperness. He will calm down, it takes time, though. Remember that he is VERY afraid that you are going to eat him. Sometimes it helps to gently cup your hands over top of him while you are holding him, so he doesn' t feel too exposed. Just don't restrain him from exploring, although there is a fine line between restraining and protecting them from JUMPING out of your hands!
