FREAKING FUNNY GIRL, LOL
Eve
Sure, they are on the way, hahahhaah ! Wish we could ship to you buddy !
Hey how are your guys, everybody hanging in there? Sure hope so !
Eve
fattening up nicely, soon be big enough for pics again, lol. After i took em out of brumation they never started eating till about 2 weeks later, that and the fact they were under for a month and a half meant they were a little on the slim side
Getting there now though, plenty waxworms and mealies!Hey i got a Q,nothing real important or that but my gang go through spates of eating only the black crickets then changing to mealies then brown crickets in no particular order, waxworms are always eaten with enthusiasm. My Q is does anyone elses collareds do this, just curious and trying to strike a convo as well i suppose

with me buddy, I'm always willing to talk ,
Well I have some who prefer nothing but crickets, some who love both crickets and superworms, and some who just LOVE superworms.
So guess my answer would have to be they have their own preferences, or tastes, like we do.
Chia, the female vestiguim, loves spiders and those big flying ant things.
**** Now what would you like to talk about? Hhehheheheehh, hows your kids doing? Waiting for the Big Jolly Ole Santa, if so I hope hes real good to them this year !
Eve
or so he keeps saying anyway!I would tend to disagree there but ill leave that for santa to decide. As for spiders, hell all my collareds go nutz for them but ive never tried the flying antz (future queens i believe)as we only get them for about 1 week of the year
Now moths, theres a food item to give owners a load of fun, dont know about anyone else but i think watching the collareds leap 2 feet in the air to catch a moth is amazing,i could watch em do it all day!Ive alot of native insects here and with varying degrees of success, one that they couldnt care less for was wood lice, which is a shame because there is a bung of these all year round but then again theres not much to em either.I may get flamed for this one but ive also tried the small centipedes which the collareds somehow recognised as venomous as instead of just pouncing on em,they sorta bit them and threw them around a bit until they were lifeless then ate them. They do the same with the larger female wolf spiders, but with alot more vigour
