Quick ? on the Dr. Seward reeding video/DVD

I'm getting some extra cash for x-mas and what I intend to do with it is to buy the breeding videos. The DVD is cheaper, but my question is, is it handy to have the book and charts in hard copy? If it is, I'd gladly pay to have them. Thanks for any replies- I can't wait to get the video!

and you get the charts and stuff on the DVD< you hae to have a DVD-ROM drive on your computer to view them, and then all you do is print them out.

Hope that helps. The video is worth it BTW.

I've got the DVD also and was trying to figure out how to view the charts and manual, I figured it was something like that, but since I don't have a DVD-ROM drive, I'm out of luck. Thanks for confirming this for me.

looks like I'll be going with the videos. I don't have a dvd enabled drive either. Don't want to miss any helpful info!

How was the sound quality on the DVD?

I bought the video right before the DVD became available and maybe it's just my copy of the tape but the sound level fluctuates a lot. It’s just a minor annoyance. I'm assuming volume fluctuation isn't in the master and that the DVD wouldn't have problems like that.

I hadn't really noticed anything about the sound. I am planning on watching the DVD again today for kicks, I'll let you know.

The sound level seems to fluctuate a little on the DVD also. Just letting you know.

I've noticed that while watching the DVD I have to adjust the sound several times. Thanks for clearing this up...was planning to get a MiracleEar but maybe I'll put that off for now.

You might want to contact Mark Seward about it. Maybe you got a bad DVD.

While on the subject of the video, I love it. It's the most professional quality thing I have ever seen done on the subject.

I would HIGHLY recomend getting the DVD over the tape. For two reasons, first it's cheaper. The book is on hte DVD in PDF.

Second, the info is so well broken into sections that it's nice to be able to pull up the menu and go to the section on just "tempuratures", "breeding", "incubating", "etc.".

That's what I do anyway.

There is even a funny little bloopers section at the end with the Sutherlands.

Good Luck,
Troy
