Bloated Leo?

Haydn Dec 20, 2003 07:17 PM

Has anyone ever noticed that their geckos have looked bloated? My female seems to be walking fairly slow compared to her regular energetic self and to be pretty fat looking compared to yesterday as far as I can remember. I know she has been mating already but would the development of eggs in her (only mated about 6 days ago) cause such a difference? Thanks,

Trevor

What kind of substrate do you keep them on?.

Fine black sand packaged for reptiles by ZooMed or ExoTerra or T-Rex (can't remember exactly). It is much, much finer than Calcisand.
