Looking to get a gecko

trevoro Dec 20, 2003 08:14 PM

Right now I have a bearded dragon and I'm looking to convert his 20 gallon feeding aquarium into a home for a new gecko. I've read care sheets and have a basic idea of what is needed and that different geckos have different needs.

I haven't decided on what kind to get just yet. I was wondering if there is a website that has pictures of the more common species all on one site? The sites I've been to have a couple different ones but nothing with an "all-in-one" type thing I'm looking for.

well here are a few suggestions

trio of leopard geckos
a pair of crested geckos
pair or trio of frog eyed geckos
a pair or trio of helmeted gekcos
up to 5 pictus gekcos

hope this helps and all these gecko breed well in captivity.

No ideas for the links, but I would urge you to buy Crested Geckos (Rhacodactylus ciliatus) They are very easy to care for (especially compared to Pogona vitticeps) and they are dumbfoundingly cute.
