my female malis is definitely gravid and should lay her eggs within 2-3 weeks. i thought she was gravid about 2 weeks ago, and now i know because she is getting more plump in her abdomen, and i can already feel eggs. She definitely has more eggs in her than last year. I already have the incubator set up just in case she decides to lay her eggs a little early. This is going to be her second clutch for me. She hasn't really started digging yet, but i saw a hole in the nesting box, and a hole under the basking rock so i think she is going to start really diging soon. Last year she started to dig non stop 1-2 week before she laid her eggs. Before the crazy digging she dug a little more than usually, but it was so slight i wouldn't have noticed it if she wasn't gravid. Wow, i have a gravid female, and got two more uros, and one of the two uros also might produce some hatchlings for me this year.
