a 1 year old blood female, in fact she is my logo!

as with every line, there are some whos colors are magnificent and then there are those mud colored ones. Luck of the draw. when you buy from a reputable breeder with good genes you stack the deck in your favour. Kevin has some great animals. I have bloods, snows and hypos from him. NO COMPLAINTS, he is great.

Kevin was great to deal with and is an extremely nice guy and i would probably buy from him again as long as this beardie turns out halfway red looking i mean you can't really guarantee anything. ill just have to wait and see.

All is well here..
The dragons are up and down. Taadaa is the one sleeping now. Cecil (the ig tailed beardie) is full of energy and constantly trying to get at his friend the Chameleon in the reptarium beside him.
Wayne is in and out of brumation, he's been up for a couple days and eating like a horse. Only curly edged greens, mind you (eyeroll).
Ozzy is growing and is a very pretty.
Daisy and Slim are doing well together. It was a little scary at first, I've been wanting to put them together for a couple years but was always too chicken. At first there was a little neck biting but nothing vicious. I pulled Daisy off of Slim a couple times and scolded her..lol They are good now though.

Give your horse an apple for me!! And the beardies a big fat worm from auntie Chriaty *grin*
Good to see you again.

This is his normal everyday, if not duller type of color. Typically he is not as orange toned as the photo looks. When he fires up he is dark magenta and purple! Yowser!!!

Remember lots of things affect color. What Beardiedragon said is true and then also diet, stress, lighting, etc.

I'm a very happy camper with this guy!

Question, who is Kevin? I am looking for a red dragon. Does someone have a link?

colors, but I know how cautious you are about bloodlines!!

Proof that you can get great babies without inbreeding!

Over the past two years, we decided to pick up a few select "high color" dragons from known breeders to mix with some of our lines to "beef up" color . Out of the ones we have bought, I have to say that I am most impressed with Kevin's. He takes a lot of his developed color and outcrosses to European lines so size and hardiness seem to stay solid. We have a gorgeous male that is 21 inches and not even close to a year old yet! He's a monster! The blood pictured above is just a juvi still. And harkening back to that discussion/theory on tail pattern, the two that I have from him are PERFECT--not a broken ring, and very parallel.

keep his lines hearty, I figured he was breeding in Europeon stock also, just from a few things I picked up in conversations and it it make sense... I think a very smart move.

I was cleaning up some things on my computer today and came across your henrylawsoni/rankin pictures.... gosh those little guys are so cute and precious!

Some Day!
