I might as well help you out again. Mudpuppies get big, sometimes around 2 feet. They need alot of space to swim around and stretch. But they also need some hiding spaces. I reccomend a 20 gallon aquarium that can hold water, a good filter unless you want to clean out a smelly tank every week and for a hiding spot I'd say a couple bricks on one end piled up so the mudpuppy can fit completely under/in. I don't know if you would want to use gravel, it would kinda make the cleaning job harder, your choice. I don't have any pics, I don't have a digital camera.

Mudpuppies can't swim around in tap water, I didn't know that one day and it ended up with a floating mudpuppy.

I don't think you should use plants in the tank, real or fake, I've had mudpuppies eat either, they aren't real picky when it comes to feeding time.
