Day gecko tank

Hi i'm getting 3 (phelsuma dubia,Phelsuma laticauda, and Phelsuma quadriocellata)small day geckos this April or May and i have an idea for a cage alright sqare cage 12inches wide 12 inches long and 17 1/2 inches tall all glass inside the cage the substrate will be potting soil to snake plants a little water bowl (to help with humidity) and two large bamboo pieces hallow at least an inch and a half in diameter for them to hide in and a little slab of flat rock to put there fruit would this work should it be more elaborate?

can you tell me where you are getting your phelsuma? I'm having a tough time locating breeders.

www.emeraldexotics.net he breeds all the ones listed and a few more but he just put them into cooling so in a few months he'll have them thats his website

I've asked Leann at www.daygecko.com questions about day geckos and she's extremely helpful. You might give her a try if there is no response here. It seems like cresteds are the 'in' lizard at the moment. Personally, I like the ones I can see during the daytime.

Hey,

I hope your not mixing them. I would only go for one each in a tank that size anyway.

Your tank sounds good though. My phelsuma rarely ever use the snake plants i give them (once in a while) but are always basking on the bamboo. I would make sure to provide more bamboo stalks for them to perch.
