Let us know how you keep her...what kind of cage does she have...what are his temps? Do you have proper UVB lighting? A lot of iguanas are in breeding season right now...could this be the problem...has she seen the vet lately? Could need a checkup...good luck...Lyn

Hello,
While Ig do trail off and become inconsistent when moved indoors and the pattern changed in regards to humidity, Temperature and uv light, 5 weeks W/O eating is an issue.
Lyn's suggestions are correct. Go down the list. If everything is sound, Go to the Vet. Forcefeeding should only be attempted AFTER the animal is properly diagnosed.
Good Luck and please post your outcome.
Sincerely,
Brian

I don't know if this will help you or not but I suppliment my Desert Iggys diet when they don't eat well with enteral omnivore formula from Walkabout Farms. They have formulas for vegetarians and carnivores. It is rich in vitamins and minerals. I fed my male adult nothing but that since he would eat nothing else last winter. Instead of loosing weight he gained weight. It comes in powder form and you mix it with water. I used an eyedropper touch it to his mouth. And most of the time he will lap it up! I think it's great! Good luck! Merry Christmas everyone! Bill.
