? on meal worms and super woems..does a super worm go into athe stage before the beatle like meal worms??also woul 50 meal worm beayles be eniugh to slowly start colony??

Yes, super worms turn in to beetles like meal worms, and before they get the hard black shell they look like a little white alien thing all curled up. LOL they are weird looking right before they darken and turn into beetles. The only way I could get supers to turn into beetles was to separate then from each other. You could use a film canister and place a little substrate in each with one worm inside. With meal worms as you know they switch over to beetles a lot faster and easier then supers do. 50 beetles could start a small colony. Just take the beetles out and place them in a fresh tub with new substrate and let them breed.
