I would begin by looking at scales (www.exoticlizards.com). They have all sizes, colors and their prices are pretty good. LLL also carries them. I've been getting mine from Amazing Blue Reptiles. They don't advertize them, but they have been supplying me with them pretty good and have good prices also. All of these cages are basically the same design. The inside corners of them all will need to be sealed with silocone or something else to keep the smaller insects from getting into the frame. I just seal the smaller cages, since larger crickets can't get into the frames anyways. Are you new to chameleons?

I've kept Veilds these will be the first panthers I've kept. I've kept lots of other animal which need specific needs like green tree pythons for example.

John-

Don't know how many cages you looking for, but if you are talking about a good number of cages, you will be better off building your own. I build most of my cages, only bought 5 out of my 23 cages. The cages I did buy are aluminum all screen cages. I have plans on my site for 2'x2'x4' cages, just click the photo below. Hope this helps!

I personally like to build my own cages so I can't tell you where to get them. However I was concerned about the stacking part of your question. In my opinion you can't stack cham cages, they are to tall to be put on top of each other.

This is what we did. Using 2 X 4's we built a simple shelf system (really two 2 X 4's that the cages set on and then supported by 2 x 4 squares). I've attached a rough drawing. Using the 36 X 18 cages we are able to get 4 cages on the top and 4 cages on the bottom of a 8' rack. We use white pvc between the cages to block the chams view of the next cage. We built it so there is a 1' gap between to top and bottom (for lights and drippers in the winter when they are inside and I run an Arizona Misting system between them in the summer when they are outside). For doing large numbers of cages this is the way to go. The racks are light enough that one person can carry an 8' rack to move them around and they are easy to build.

Could you please give the cage plans? I really like the way you did this. Thanks in advance,
John

P.S. have any pics of the actual completed rack with or without chams inside?
