I spent a week hiking all over St.Marten, years ago, and,I would think that any remaining boas would be in extreme jeopardy of extinction, between the ever growing human population, and, the totally out of control mongoose population!(they're literally EVERYWHERE,and, form large packs,or,colonies!) the entire island is only something like 5 miles wide,by 7 miles long! the whole time I was there, the only reptiles I saw were multitudes of crested anoles, and, tons of sea turtles...not a single snake! I was bummed,to say the least! I would also guess that if anyone IS working with boas from this island, the genepool would be so limited that it would create a situation similar to the St. Lucian boa.(captive breeding projects would be prone to extreme inbreeding/purity issues.)anyway,I know this doesn't answer your question, but,I thought I'd throw in my personal observations...
