well, both of my little newlings have gone through their first shed, the elder had hers yesterday and the younger one today. the elder ate two little mealies and a pinhead cricket yesterday but neither of them have touched any food (that I have seen) today. I had heard that babies were ravenous after their first sheds but mine seemed only half interested in their food at best today. maybe I'm just being a little over worried (I do that sometimes hehe) but just wondering how much other people's hatchlings would eat after the shed. also, I've been putting my hand in the cage a couple times a day to have the babies crawl on it and such so that they can get used to me. is this a good idea or does it just stress them out more? any imput of any kind on what people do/don't do with their babies would be greatly appriciated. thanks!
