Hello all,
I am new to these forums, and the proud owner of three baby common snappers.
Alright worms of my snappers diet. Right now I have no access to earthworms( a good food source when the time was right), now the ground is solid and worms are scarce.
My turtles have a diverse diet consisting of; bloodworms, earthworms(actually not anymore for now), crickets, reptomin baby, occasional ghost shrimp, beefheart, guppies, and the occasional veggies.
Being that earthworms were a good wholesome meal, and are gone I was feeding frozen bloodworms(more often). But what I haven't mentioned is that i'm allergic to them, and thank goodness I've finished the last frozen BW cube.
So, when I goto the petstore I was will buy other frozen things. Are glass worms alright, have you tried them before? Or would freeze dried tubifex worms be better?(Tubifex worms would be easier, as they come in tiny cubes, and I also have a newt.)
Your opinions would be helpful,
Thanx
