LOOOKING TO GET A MONITOR...HELP

i am looking to geta monitor. i want one that doesnt grow 5 feet but can be handled. i was told that some monitors can have dusted crickets instead of a nouse(true or not true). can some one help me pic a good monitor for me.

Under 5 ft? Ya gotta go with the Dumeril Monitor!!!!! Very docile, and grows to around 4-4.5 feet. I've never had one even try to bite!
