New additions from FIRE

ProtaZoey Jun 03, 2003 06:07 PM

I am SOOOO happy to have 2 new additions to my growing family. One, is a year old female ball, Sagira. The other is an albino California kingsnake, Natsu. He is SO crazy. All he spends his time doing is trying to get out of his cage I hope to breed my female to my male, Zan, in a year or so.

Loving them all,
Zoe

Zan's Den--will be updated with new pics soon:)

just wondering......
how do you come up with the names for your snakes?

Babynames.com

I went there and spent about 4 hours going through all the female and male names independently and made a list in Word of my faves, their meanings, origins, and whether male or female.

Zan--well fed, Male, Hebrew
Sagira--little one, female, Egyptian
Natsu--born in Summer, male, Japanese

All names were chosen for a reason, actually based on their meanings and relevancy to snakes or something about the snake.

Natsu was born in 6/01, so he really WAS born in summer. Zan is ALWAYS well fed by me And Sagira is really an oxymoron, she is NOT little anymore. I like my life and the things in it to have meaning. And they are always great coversation pieces:-P
