im getting an everglade rat snake would it live in a tank 2ft by 3ft by 3ft when adult id be talking it out every day to let it just go around my room as it wants i have a very small pet roon about 5ft by 5ft

That should be fine. In general, I like to see the tank's length be about 1/2 of the snake's length, so it should work great. If the tank is 3 feet high, as well, I'd definitely look for some good wood for the snake to climb. It would be a great plus for him. My guys sure love their climb spots!

You don't say how big the snake your getting is. That size is way too big for a hatchling but would comfortably fit one up to five foot or a little more. Branches are a good idea by the way for making the most out of a smaller cage. Yellows (and in my opinion Glades are just an orange yellow rat...). Do not need to stretch out their body length in a cage and they are not nervous snakes (like racers). So your habitat will be fine for a long time.
Handling (once they are past n/b) is a good idea. they can occasionally be a bit nippy but usually get over it and become excellent "good will" snakes.
