which book to buy ??

I have 2 Pituophis Deppei Deppei, and i am lloking for a good book which can give me allthe details i need on feeding heating breeding etc.

Can anybody reccomend a good book / books and the authour as i am in desperate need of reading up on these snakes

Just in case your thinking about it, DON'T buy "Pine Snakes" by W.P. Mara. It's terrible.

He had some nice pictures plus good breeding info and stories. The rest of the book is practically carbon copy of the milksnake/cornsnake/etc books. It's like they made a general colubrid care book then added sections for morphs, pictures, and breeding. Very disappointing.

There is no book with the info you seek--take John up on his offer. You can't go wrong as John is one of the best! Others willing to help include John Ginter, Gregg of Gregg's Reptile Basement (he goes by gofer--scroll down and you'll find his name), and Jason Nelson of Envy. Good luck.
