I think I'm gonna try and bowl feed crix when I get my Cresties.....what size bowl do you all use? How big (round) & how deep (more importantly), should or could it be? Thanks to anyone and all.

Hmmm as long as the crickets can't get out then it should be fine. But make sure you have some branch or stick over the bowl so the crestie can climb over the bowl and see the crickets. OR this is what i do and basically dig a big hole in the substrate your using, put the bowl inside and then it should be ground level so the crestie can see the crickets just walking along side the bowl.
good thinking....i'll try that. do you pinch their legs so they don't jump out as well?
Actually i cant be bothered. If you get a big enough bowl, most crickets that jump out will walk back in there again and if you have those smooth surface bowls, they wont be able to "climb" out however they can still "jump" out. Nonetheless i have bark as substrate and havent ever had problem with cresties choking or whatever. (i know i know bark=slap on wrist) but it looks good with my plants so
