If so, could you perhaps post some pictures. I am basically interested in bedding issues since the litter dam is only 3-4 inches high.
Thanks,
Jason

consider getting a cattle trough or horse trough----galvanized---6x2x2 or 8x2x2--inexpensive,easy to clean, plenty deep for bedding--best part is no worries about melting anything--food for thought--brian
Do you use those as cages for adults? 2 feet wide seems a little small. Just curious, it sounds like an easier way to keep them instead of making a cage.
both tegus(1.1) are approx. 3 1/2 months old--not very big yet--i agree with you on width for an adult---i have always liked the galvanized feed troughs for reptiles but when they are older powertools and lots of plywood and metal screening are a must--lol--brian
Howdy,
I can't speak to the "Animal Plastics" cages but as far as the litter dam goes, here is what I did in my cages. I installed a wide plank/board the entire length of the cage and mounted it to the inside of the face of the cage. That gives me a good lip to work with and then I don't get alot of mulch falling out every time I open the enclosure. I can post pics if you want when I get home?
Merry X-mas Everyone!
