Hi, I have a great big ig who is not super friendly. I want to buy her a super huge cage that is nice to look at and also affordable. I have looked endlessly online and I was wondering if anyone can give me advice on where to find huge cages for a good price.
Also, she has a skin infection that looks like a burn. Its like white patches on her skin. I took her to a herp vet but he had no idea what it was. I clean it every day but it isn't getting better or worse. Has anyone seen this or heard about it? If so, what should I do? Please Help!

hi.. i don't know of any places that you can get a big cage... it would cost you an arm and a leg anyways for that. i would instead look for a carpenter buddy of yours, or at least someone ( if you don't ) thta knows a little about building stuff and just build you own cage. would be cheaper. i built a 4x4x8 cage for a monitors for about 150-200 bucks. used 4x8 sheets of wood .......and built a frame and walla. a cage 
as for the infection i don't know what it is. is it pussy? moist? or is it just white? could possibly be just a scar and nothing to worry about. infection could already be done with. just left the scales discolored. if it needs to be cleaned, i would use a betadine solution on it. rinse than. and than put some noesporin on it. make sure the ig isn't licking that up though. i have used it before on a slight nose rub on my ig. no probs with it. ( she will be 10 yrs old in march). good luck
