My cwd babies are about three months old now and within the past two weeks two of the six have lost part of their tails. Does anyone know why this is happening? I found the piece of the tail that fell off the second one and it looked perfectly fine and was not near anyhting that it could have gotten caught on.Otherwise they are completely healthy.
Also my male has slowed down eating. He used to eat everyday or everyother day and now he will only eat about once a week. He eats a large fuzzy, almost hopper, sized mouse but isn't losing any weight. Is this normal for an adult? Also all of wds that I have ever seen are green, but my male is an ugly dark olive green on his body and yellow green on his tail. Has anyone ever seen this type of coloring before?
On side of one of my wds head was always slightly swollen looking and recently the swelling was replaced by a round bump righ under its eye. Any idea whar it could be? I know it could be a sign of mbd but I give them calcium and vitamins at almost every feeding and they have a uvb light.
