Quarenteen?

I'm taking care of a friends snakes for the christmas break while he is out of town. One is a wild caught black rat snake and one is a wild caught eastern milksnake. If i keep them in the same room as my burm do i have to worry about my burm contracting diseases/parasites from them? If its possible, how far away do the rat snake and milk snake have to be to eliminate the possibility?

Personally, I would NOT keep them in the same room. Since these are small colubrids, you should be able to find a small area in your home to keep them during the break. There is no sense in taking any chances (internal and external parasites, viruses, etc.). During this time always service the king/milksnake AFTER you have taken care of your burm just to be safe.
