Defecating in Tunnels?

mrbfrog Dec 22, 2003 08:32 PM

My corns like to tunnel a lot and I was wondering if they poop in their tunnels or if they come to the surface to do that?
Thanks

They poop wherever they happen to be at the moment. I don't think they plan on it at all, and then they go and crawl around in it.

no post here, what are you looking at, there is nothing here, you should know that by now. it took me a while to figure out. Have any of you ever played the game Mow, you have to learn the rules as you play, it is confuseing and i was not very good at it for the longest time, then the other players took pity on my and explained what was going on, i found it very confuseing.

p.s
is there anyway to get they messages to indent. I dont like all of my stuff being indented all the way left.

everyone should go to http://homestarrunner.com/

I thought that snakes could control when and where they wanted to poop...does anyone know if thats true?? A friend of mine who's had extensive snake owning experience told me that, and I've noticed that my snakes never poop where they like to sleep...and they prefer their water dish above anything else (grrr, frustrating!! Don't want my snakes to drink their poop!)

I keep my corn on aspen and she loves to burrow through it.

However, every poop she makes is always on the surface. I don't know if she does it on purpose, or every time she lets it rip she just happens to be above the substrate.

I honestly can not remember her pooping "inside" the substrate once.

Generally speaking, my snakes rarely poop in their hides. I think that's because they're inactive when they're hiding, and that the pooping usually occurs when they're crawling around. I don't think they avoid pooping in their hides, it just so happens that the "action" usually occurs when they're roaming.

My husband and I were holding our two biggest corns, Popcorn and Kandy...They had eaten Sat night and it was now Monday night. Well my husband was letting Kandy do her normal activity of going straight for his glasses and crawling around in his hair. The following conversation took place.

Me: I don't know if I would let her crawl around on your head, she just ate two days ago.

Hubby: What do you mean?

Me: I mean she might decide to let one go on you and I don't think you'd appreciate S**t in your hair.

Hubby: Oh no, Kandy's my baby, she wouldn't do anything like that. I trust her.

Me: You mean you'll trust her until it happens.

Hubby: Yeah.

And not two seconds later, Kandy our snow corn unleashes this HUGE poo right down the front of David's face, covering his glasses, nose, everywhere. I couldn't stop laughing

Just goes to show you that despite our affection towards them, they still go when they gotta go.

Merry Christmas everyone!!
