Here is a pic of the big beaded for you. This guy is massive. Not a great pic, but you should get the idea. He's pretty mellow. The other one just doesn't like me.

When and if you do handle them, do you wear gloves that have steel mesh in them to protect yourself? What kind of gloves do you use?

When I just need to move them around, I don't use gloves, much faster just to tail them. I mainly use my gloves when i have to work one one. They're nothing special just soft fiarly thick leather from Home Depot. I've been bitten 4 times with the gloves on by up to 16" yearlings & so far they havn't penetrated to reach my flesh. Ever if a big one sinks it's teeth through my glove someday, I doubt whether the venom would get through. My gloves seem to absorb it pretty well.
