Hey Jarosh,
It is no doubt a lovely looking short-tail, but I am not so sure I would be calling that a Black blood. It looks to me like a Borneo short-tail. If it is a Black blood that is one light looking black blood. Even the lightest of blacks have some brown in them or some black or brown on their back and laterals.

Where is this guy from, dealer, show, expo, private breeder, etc?

Sure looks like a Borneo to me.

Tracy Barker has personally identified this snake for me as a P. curtus curtus. I've enclosed an old shot of the very same snake posed next to a "normal" appearing Black Blood, and also a Borneo (separate photo) for comparison.

She looks great, Paul!!! ...& thanks for the update!!!

Hey,
Just goes to show you you just never know! Who bred that little guy or girl? There was someone selling platinum Borneo's a few months ago, that resembled that Black blood a lot; not saying that they are the same animal. However, the colors are very similar. At any rate, thanks for clearing that up. It's an unusual SST, no doubt. Did you get any background info, on it. Parents: Sire/Dam pics, or WC, parents, or captive born etc.?

Now that photo is better. I can see the differences. Very nice looking animal either way. Thanks for clearing it up.

Happy Holidays!

Glad I could help! I sold that animal to Paul close to a year ago. She is a CH import. I can't wait to see what she produces!!!
