Dear friends,
my wife and I'll be visiting Florida in February/March 04 and wonder if anyone out there can give us some info about places to visit when one's interested in hots (Serpentariums, Zoos, stores etc.)?

If you come down to South Florida, come see us at the Everglades Outpost in Florida City. We have somewhere around 30-35 venomous on display from pigmys to king cobras, plus crocadilians and various other animals. $7 for adults, $5 for kids.
Parrot Jungle Island is supposed to have a serpentarium, but I haven't seen it yet (mostly due to the price, $25 per person).

Side effects may include paralysis
and death but are generally mild.
In east central Florida, not far from Mickey, there's the Reptile World Serpentarium between Kissimmee & St. Cloud on highway 192. George extracts venom from snakes there daily, doing the kings on Sunday, I believe.
