Ladder Albino boa

DemonBloodMage Dec 23, 2003 06:42 AM

Hello

ABout a week ago, I bought a Peter Kahl Albino Boa from a friend of mine. He sold it to me for $700. ANother friend of mine saw it and said it was a ladder albino because the saddles on her back all connect. Was this a good buy??? Are ladders rare snakes or does this happen all the time???

this is just mt thoughts on this.......yes it was a good buy. an albino boa for $700.00 no doubt. laddertails are fairly common as far as i know. it's a definition of a pattern:ie circlebacks. I have a het for albino female from jeff r. that is a laddertail as well. reverse striped, or striped i beleive to be a diffrent subject. all in all a good deal. i think it depends on what you want and the value you are willing to attach to it. some people would get rid of an anery because it is not red, others would cherious that? my 2cents. BEST OF LUCK!!

$700 for any albino is a good deal unless it only has one eye at which point I wouldn't go near it at any price. The statement about "some people would get rid of an anery because it is not red, others would cherious that" has me confused though. By definition shouldn't there be a lack of red pigment to be an anery or was bahreptiles just being sarcastic?

bahreptiles Dec 23, 2003 08:15 PM

yes, i was being sarcastic in a sense. i have come across some people that consider boa constrictors to having a red tail. yes they do and no they don't. like the saying goes "one mans trash is another ones treasure" i have come across people that shunned anerys and told me "i am not chasing the snow" others are like he77 yes! i need one of those. well to make ghosts you have to have an anery. for the record i love anerys, ghosts, hypos and all the other morphs out there, as well as a good looking boa.
I don't do surinams, peruvians, guyanans,i do like them but for me the morphs are where my interests are. i don't shun the others, but.....to each their own. i hope i have explained this correctly to get my point across.
