can anyone identify the mystery bug in this fecal?

beardiedragon Dec 23, 2003 11:11 AM

Hoping you could help me out and identify the mystery bug.

Just traded for a Beardie but she has a lot of coccidia, some giardia and a few pinworms. There is also something that I have never seen before. Waiting for my vet to call me back. I took a video of the mystery bug. You can see it at www.beardiedragon.com/post.htm You will probably be better off right clicking on the file and saving it to your drive rather than viewing it on line.

Thanks a bunch,

did you try the mpeg file? I added that to see if it would make it easier, it's a smaller file.

thanks so much

The player you use for an avi file is not important. It's the codec with which that avi file was compressed.

I'd suggest using the DivX or XVid codec. Most people have that on their PCs these days.

yes thats true but some players come with different codecs than others. I used windows media player and it played. Unfortunately the encoder is part of the software for the microscope and I dont get to shoose the codec. I was able to load it into one program and save it as an mpg, hope that works for those that cant play the avi.
