Michiel,
. BRBs which have enough cage humidity usually shed their skin in one or two pieces. When they are kept too dry or do not drink enough they become dehydrated and have a difficult time shedding. 80% humidity may not be quite high enough for a little BRB. You may have an overall humidity in your cage of 80% but the snake may be staying in a part of the cage which is dryer than that. Little snakes will select where they spend most of their time based upon their needs. They need to be warm and humid and secure. They are inherently very shy and will seek security more than they will seek a comfortable temperature or humidity. If the only secure hiding spot is too warm or too dry they may spend most of their time there even though it causes them to become dry. Watch what your snakes are doing in their cage and try to determine what their actions are telling you about what they need.
