What about parasites on the mouse? Would it kill the snake?
Or diseases on the mouse? Is it possible to tell when a mouse has a disease? And if it's safe to feed?
Thanks in advance.

I can't imagine anything on a mouse that could harm a reptile other than chemicals you put there. Unless the mouse was OBVIOUSLY a skeleton or terribly ill or has a big abscess I would feed it. I know others will feed abscessed animals without any troubles. And sure you can tell if a mouse is sick. Hunched, rail thin, scruffy looking...you name it. By the same token you may get a wild caught mouse that has ingested poison and just not died yet....But that is so hypothetical that it isn't reasonable.

I could see a wild mouse with parasites that may be transfered to the snake but that isn't the kind of thing where the snake is going to be dead the next morning. It would be more like two months later the snake starts loosing his appitite.
Your concerns for your snake are good and admirable, your concerns about bad mice are unfounded. Your snake is a lot more vulnurable to the wrong temperatures, a dry water bowl, getting dropped when you handle it, injesting substraite, the family cat or dog, an eagle crashing through the window, a meterite, super nova, nuclear winter, Osama bin Laden.
