I was just watching that Vet show on Animal Planet with that tall guy with the shmock and he was treating a burm with a R.I., and the burm squirted on him from musk glands in a defense situation. I've never heard of this and grabbed every book I own on boas and found that female boas do have this. Any body out there been sprayed? If it is anything like the scent gland in small male dogs, I think I'd rather be bitten!

I have and it is not fun, it takes weeks for the smell to leave the snake room.
